Canadian-born all natural stunner Sunny Leone is one of the few stars of Indian descent working in the adult industry today and, without doubt, the most naturally drop-dead gorgeous. Her father was born in Tibet and raised in New Delhi, while her mother is from a small town called Nahan in the Punjab. Sunny was born as Karen Malhotra in Sarnia, Ontario, on 13 May 1981 after the family had emigrated, growing up building snowmen and ice skating through every autumn and winter of her childhood.

In 1996, when Sunny was 15, her family moved south to California. It proved quite a difficult adjustment for the shy Canadian girl. Indeed, Sunny has admitted if she had never left Canada, she doesn't believe she ever would have entered the adult industry. After graduating high school and a few brief office jobs, friends suggested to the stunning 34C-24-34 teen Sunny that she try modelling. She was just almost 19 at the time.

"I tried it and it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. I got a lot more respect from people I was shooting with and made money," Sunny recalls. "At first the Indian community didn’t accept what I was doing very well. But as time has gone by people have started to respect me and see that I am not going anywhere and I enjoy what I do for a living."

Sunny's first big break was becoming Penthouse Pet of the Month for March 2001. She shot for Hustler and numerous other magazines soon after, then in 2003 won Penthouse Pet of the Year. A smart girl, it was then that Sunny built her own website. She approached Vivid soon after and convinced them they should make her a contract girl. They agreed, even though she insisted she enter hardcore with only girl-girl scenes.

The 2006 release Virtual Vivid Girl Sunny Leone made her the first ever Vivid Girl to have such an interactive feature. It won the 2007 AVN Award for Best Interactive DVD. Sunny shot her first ever boy-girl hardcore movie Sunny Loves Matt early in 2008. Meanwhile, through all the rising fame, Sunny has continued to look after the website she started herself, which now includes over 10 gigs of video and a raft of uncut liveshows she's done for fans.
